What is the purpose of MyGeorgia.net Personals?

MyGeorgia.net Personals was created to help singles in the South Georgia and North Florida area find one another.  Our site is the only online personals site geared to do this.  Most online personals sites are large national companies who maintain personals ads for people all over the county.  This makes it hard to search for those people who are looking for a relationship close to home.  With MyGeorgia.net Personals you're sure to see local ads from local people like yourself.

How much does it cost to list an ad?

Nothing!  Posting an ad for yourself is free.  However there is a small charge for receiving,  replying to responses, and initiating contact with others. This small fee is to cover the large bandwidth and server costs associated with providing our service. Please see our Fees Sections for details on service charges.

How do I cancel my Upgraded Membership?

You may cancel at anytime by sending an email to our Billing Department at billing@mygeorgia.net  All requests for cancellation are performed within 24 hours.

How do I post my first ad?

There are two steps involved in posting an ad.  First, visit the registration page and select a username and provide some general contact information for our records.  You will receive an email within 5 minutes with your username and password.  In this email will be a link to your profile page for you to fill out with information for your ad.  This is were you can also an a picture is you choose.

Is my email address hidden from view by other users?

Yes!  People can respond to your ad through a form and your address will not be revealed to them.

I am having problems logging in with the password you provided me.

If you receive an error when you try to log in with the password you were sent during registration, the most likely cause is that there are extra spaces in either your username or password.  If you are copying and pasting your username from your email to the log-in box, be sure you don't copy the empty spaces before and after your password.  Also you may want to double check you are typing in your username or password correctly.  Should you have further problems report the issue with Technical Support.

Someone is harassing me.  What can I do about it?

MyGeorgia.net Personals will not allow our service to be used to harass members.  Should you feel you are being harassed fill out our Report Abuse Form.  MyGeorgia.net Personals reserves the right to remove anyone we feel is harassing members or posting pictures we deem as graphic.

I received a request for my personals password.  Why do you need it?

MyGeorgia.net Personals will never ask you for your password.  Should you receive a request for your password, fill out our Report Abuse Form to let us know about it.
